This was at a jazz venue I went to with two friends. In painting this, I must recall the wonderful conversations we had that night. The upright bassist was amazing as well.
For this painting, I worked off of the studies I had drawn that evening. Here's one:

At Fulton St. Collective, I met another Sophia who's from Nebraska. They'd taken the train over to stay for a couple of days in Chicago. Funny how the universe works sometimes.
